APTA MT Launches Online Community

APTA MT launches an online community for Montana PTs and PTAs to network, find solutions, share ideas and more. At aptamtcommunity.com, you can find subgroups by profession or specialty. Invitations were sent out last week, and you can click on the link to join at anytime. We are looking for volunteers to lead some of the specialty subgroups, so let us know if you are interested.

    Speaker:
    Ricardo A. Fernandez PT, PhD, OCS, CSCS is a clinician, lecturer and researcher. While a full-time faculty member at Northwestern University, Ricardo studied the relationship between posture and knee dysfunction as part of his doctoral work. He has been practicing as a physical therapist for 33 years and is a three-time orthopedic certified specialist. Ricardo has presented over 200 professional presentations on knee and shoulder topics in 19 states. He has also lectured internationally in Aruba, Ethiopia, Peru, and Vietnam and has volunteered to treat patients in Honduras and Nicaragua. He was honored to receive the APTA Humanitarian Award in 2021.
