We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate physical therapist to work as a part of an Occupational and Physical Therapy team in a growing practice located in Bozeman, MT. Our practice focuses on finding the root of the problem by treating the person holistically, addressing a wide range of chronic pain conditions, as well as orthopedic injuries. We have a growing waiting list and are looking for the right person to help us improve the quality of life our patients enjoy.

This position is part time to start with the opportunity to grow to a full time position.

    What You’ll Do

    • Complete patient assessments/evaluations from a client centered approach and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

    • Work with the patient to determine appropriate goals.

    • Collaborate with other physicians and therapists to address the patient holistically.

    • Use an EMR to complete documentation.

    • Educate patients on their diagnosis, exercises to enable them to regain function, and their role in the healing process - teaching your patients to be proactive vs passive/reactive.

    What We’re Looking For

    • You have a Doctorate or Master’s of Physical Therapy Degree (prefer a minimum of 2 years of experience)

    • You’re currently or are willing to become licensed to practice in Montana.

    • You have experience with manual therapy (myofascial release, visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, joint mobilizations, etc.). We are also able to train these skills, but further CE's will be required.

    • You enjoy problem solving and working with the patient and understand the team approach to treating the entire human

    • You don't take yourself too seriously and understand that you are learning every day that you are on the job

    • You want to be part of a practice that is growing and understand the effort that this entails

Who We Are NOT Looking For

    • Someone looking to work primarily with athlete's in a sports focused environment

    • Someone who enjoys following protocols and utilizing a "cookie cutter" approach to treatment

    • Someone who does not embrace the necessity of a multi-disciplinary approach to treating the individual

    Why Root

    • Root is a growing practice where we treat the patient as a whole, seeking to get to the root of their dysfunction in order to enable them to get back to their best self.

    • Root seeks to provide employees significant flexibility and the opportunity to help shape the path of the company and their career in line with their interests while also reaping the rewards associated with the practice’s growth.

    • Root values its employees and understands that life exists outside of work, so offers highly competitive compensation packages, including paid time off, paid sick leave, and education benefits far greater than the norm.
